Professional Licensing Paralegal

AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Paralegal to join our corporate legal team. This position will be primarily focused on ensuring the company’s compliance with professional licensing requirements across the United States. This position will closely collaborate with our other corporate paralegals and attorneys, as well as various groups across the company, including our business units, corporate tax, corporate treasury, and litigation teams.This will be a remote/virtual telecommute position, and can be based from anywhere in the US.Primary responsibilities include:Managing the processing, maintenance and renewal of state professional licensesCoordinating with internal clients to determine necessary professional licenses, identifying responsible individuals, and complying with guidelines and proceduresCoordinating with and managing external vendors as it relates to professional licensing renewalsPreparing various corporate documents including director and shareholder resolutions, secretary certificates, and a variety of other legal documentsSupport attorneys and legal staff as neededSkills:Strong analytical, interpersonal, drafting, negotiation and written/verbal communication skillsExcellent judgment with the ability to balance competing priorities and meet tight deadlinesPractical team player with the ability to professionally collaborate in a results-oriented environmentExcellent organizational skills with high level of attention to detail and accuracyCapacity to problem solve and implement solutions under time-sensitive circumstances, collaboratively or independently, and take initiative before issues ariseAbility to deal with multistate regulatory agencies and state licensing departmentsEffectively work in a highly confidential environment with the highest standards of ethics and professional integrityAbility to build trust and effective working relationships across various teams and groups
