If you answered “yes,” then read on!We offer a hybrid work schedule (one week in the office, one week of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.At this time, Dominion Energy cannot transfer nor sponsor a work visa for this position.This position does not offer relocation assistance.Job SummaryAs a Business Systems Analyst in Emerging Technology, you will work independently on complex emerging technology projects such as Gen AI, IoT AR/VR, etc., handling all phases of R&D and proof of concept deployment activities in the emerging technology lab. You will formulate the scope and objectives of the proof of concept based on user needs, and devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems. You will work with multiple business units in multi-platform environments on multi-project assignments, guiding and advising less experienced team members. You will also maintain emerging technology lab demo artifacts and may act as a project work team or group leader as needed for emerging technology lab work.Responsibilities include:
Identify opportunities to apply technologies to business processes, through research and fact-finding.
Develop and maintain credibility, and effective working relations, with both business and IT colleagues.
Demonstrate to clients an understanding of business problems, IT strategies, issues, and priorities.
Participate in less complex technical studies to evaluate business requirements and recommends solutions.
Work closely with technology and business enterprise architects to help formulate and implement working emerging technology models for demonstration purpose in the Emerging tech Lab.
Conduct design thinking workshops to generate ideas to deploy emerging technologies to solve business problems.
Lead small pilots to deploy emerging tech in the field.
Be responsible for conducting emerging tech roadshows to further the penetration of these technologies in business.
Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
