The Franklin Academy (a private school) seeks a part-time accounting clerk. The accounting clerk plays a crucial role in supporting The Franklin Academy’s financial department by accurately maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software, and excellent organizational skills.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred)
1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices

Salary: Depends on Experience; Range of $18.00-$23.00 per hour
The offered salary is based on mutual internal equity, market data, applicant’s skills and relevant experience, degrees and certifications.
