The full Pay Range is $78,400.00 - $145,800.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.BENEFITSEmployees and their eligible family members have access to a wide array of employee benefits, such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage. Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Additional details regarding BECU Benefits can be found here .IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:As a Sr. Profitability Data Analyst at BECU, you will drive the improvement of our profitability reporting using advanced driver-based costing methodologies. Your expertise will enable better allocation and driver implementation to enhance accuracy, support business ad hoc analysis, and mine data for comprehensive profitability insights. You will leverage your deep understanding of profitability models and data structures to support projects and new initiatives. By working collaboratively across the organization, you will help shape BECU's financial strategies and contribute to its continued success.WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data from multiple sources, maintaining high levels of data integrity to inform strategic decisions.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement measures for continuous improvement, enhancing the accuracy and effectiveness of profitability reporting.
Trend Identification: Manipulate large data sets to identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions that guide strategic business decisions.
Data Validation: Create data validation jobs for implementation by other analysts, ensuring consistent data quality monitoring.
Automation: Build tools to automate data collection, streamlining data management and analysis processes.
Data Mining: Identify relevant data sources and sets to mine for business needs, collecting large structured and unstructured datasets and variables.
ETL Process Development: Develop and maintain end-to-end ETL processes and associated documentation to support data quality governance.
Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation of data sources, critical data elements, and data dictionaries to meet internal quality governance requirements.
Collaboration: Partner closely with business and data management teams to support various initiatives and projects.
Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in statistics, applied mathematics, or related discipline.
7+ years of experience in data analytics to include SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases and data warehouses.
Experience with query optimization, performance tuning, data quality and data processing.
Experience working with Data Visualization Tools such as SAS Visual Analytics or Tableau Preferred
Desired Qualifications
Experience with Data preparation/ETL tools such as SAS Enterprise Guide or SAS Data Integration Studio
Ability to communicate complex data in a simple, actionable way
Demonstrate ability to turn data into actionable insights and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions
Cost & Profitability modeling experience
Financial industry knowledge
