We are a small, dynamic company and makers of wild-fermented foods - specializing in kimchi and sauerkrauts. We are seeking two dedicated kitchen production workers to fill one full-time (approximately 32 hours per week) and one part-time (16-20 hours per week) position, working a Monday - Thursday, 8:30am - 5:00pm schedule. Have your weekends and evenings off!
Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, possess a strong commitment to quality in their work and have a positive, can-do attitude. You'll have weekends free, work in a fun, inclusive environment and have plenty of time to enjoy summer! Full-time employees also receive 5 paid holidays, PTO and health care. Kitchen production days are Monday - Thursday and typical hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm.
Kitchen production staff participate in all of the following:
- Weighing and packaging finished product
- Prepping and palletizing orders
- Cleaning, peeling, chopping and shredding vegetables in preparation for barrel fermentation
- Set-up and clean-up
Ideal candidates for this position will:
- Enjoy working on a small team in a friendly, inclusive and drama-free environment
- Possess a passion for quality work through teamwork and solid communication
- Be comfortable standing 2+ hours at a time and be able to lift 50 pounds
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen or food production environment a plus!
