Part-Time Security Officer – Tacoma
We are seeking a professional and dependable Part-Time Security Officer for our Tacoma location. This position offers an immediate start upon successful completion of the application and background process. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate strong awareness, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
Routine patrols, including walking and climbing stairs
Maintaining a visible security presence and enforcing site safety standards
Monitoring premises during overnight/graveyard hours
Responding to incidents professionally and according to training
Working outdoors, including in inclement weather
Required Qualifications
Active guard card
Clean driving record
Clean background
Reliable personal vehicle (ownership or consistent access required while on site)
Mobile phone with a data plan (required to use reporting app while on shift)
Ability to walk, climb stairs, and remain alert throughout the shift
Comfortable working overnight and in varying weather conditions
Willingness to learn job‑specific procedures and follow training
Compensation
Starting wage: $18/hour
