Job Summary
As an Aerospace Fabricator, you will join a team of talented sewers creating products found in aircraft worldwide. You’ll work alongside a team of sewers who will help you learn and grow your skillset. We offer flexible hours ranging from part-time to full-time.
Job Duties
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to ask for help when you don’t understand the requirements
- Successful communication skills
- Ability to lay out and mark reference points onto raw materials for sewing preparation
- Ability to fit and assemble components
- Comply with safety guidelines and keep a clean, organized workspace
- Ability to work and function in a self-contained, team-oriented factory environment
- Complete detailed instructions accurately and precisely
- Sew a variety of materials according to the production process and customer orders
- Ability to thread sewing machines and change needles safely
- Monitor your machines during job runs, check precision or detail against specifications and, act to correct any problems
- Tasks related to, but not limited to: cutting materials, punching parts, bending materials, and installing components
Job Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Experience in an industrial setting using sewing machines or cutting (preferred, but not required)
- Strong work ethic
- Can follow detailed instructions
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Positive/teamwork-oriented attitude
- Dependable
- We are willing to train those motivated to learn!
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to move materials up to 50 lbs
