We are recruiting for the following position(s):Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Financial Specialist for Behavioral Health - Posting #23607Hourly Rate: $21.22Position Summary: Sea Mar Behavioral Health’s diverse and quickly expanding program is seeking a full-time Financial Specialistfor its Vancouver Behavioral Health Program at its Fourth Plain location(formerly known as Community Services NW). This is a back office position that supports the front desk and clinical staff. Financial Specialists are responsible for running reports that aid in the accuracy and completion of claims. They also assist clients with insurance questions and make sure that clients have proper coverage. We have four Sea Mar CSNW locations in Vancouver and Financial Specialists work in different locations but as a team assisting each other in their various duties.The Financial Specialist performs financial screenings and provides account management for behavioral health clients.In addition, he or she will perform some phone coverage and clerical duties (as assigned). The Financial Specialist is an active member of the behavioral health team in the delivery of client services.Qualifications and/or Experience:

Must hold an Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Office Management, or related field, and two years of closely related work experience. Appropriate work experience may be substituted for the degree.

It is preferred that the Financial Specialist be bilingual (Spanish) and bicultural. This person must demonstrate respect and appreciation for diversity and have an understanding of the community.

Must have demonstrated experience with and the ability to form and maintain effective relationships with clients, team members, and community providers.

Computer proficiency and customer service skills required.

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
