The Government Engagement (GE) team aims to create broad alignment between Visa’s business objectives and public policies that affect the payments industry. Externally, the GE team engages a wide range of stakeholders to raise awareness of and build support for policies that expand access to and usage of digital payments around the world. Internally, GE works closely with colleagues across the company including Global Policy, Products, Visa Consulting & Analytics, Marketing, Communications, Visa University, Social Impact, Risk, Legal, and Compliance.The Global Government Engagement Team is seeking a Strategy & Operations Analyst, reporting to the Vice President of Strategy & Operations. The Analyst will support on all global operations and strategic initiatives and will specifically own all reporting and communication of the function. This role requires the ability to work cross-functionally with the business and act as a liaison between the other internal functions across the world including Communications and Legal. This role will manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and must demonstrate a flexible mindset and positive attitude and ‘can-do’ approach to the work. ResponsibilitiesOperational Support: Partner closely with the Vice President and Global Head of Government Engagement Strategy & Operations to ensure seamless operations at both global and regional levels. This includes assisting in the coordination and execution of strategic initiatives, tracking progress, and providing regular updates to leadership.Knowledge Management: Collaborate with regional counterparts to develop and maintain knowledge tools and solutions. Ensure that best practices, insights, and learnings are effectively captured, shared, and utilized across the team.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Regional Government Engagement teams and other internal departments to align strategies and ensure cohesive execution of initiatives.Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with key stakeholders to support and drive Visa’s 2030 Strategy. This involves identifying and addressing strategic opportunities and challenges in alignment with the company's long-term goals.Executive Briefings: Assist in creating and managing briefings for executive leadership. Prepare detailed reports and presentations that provide actionable insights and recommendations.High-Quality Communications: Contribute to the delivery of high-quality communications by crafting well-structured and clear written materials. Ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with the overall communication strategy.Compliance and Risk Management: Support global compliance programs and assist with all internal audit processes, compliance, risk, governance, records management, and controllership.Project Management: Provide project management support for special projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource allocation. Offer global resource support for regional teams as needed, coordinating efforts and managing dependencies.Narrative Development: Develop, maintain, and socialize the Government Engagement Narrative, including internal and external decks, talking points, and other communication tools. Ensure these materials are up-to-date and effectively communicate the team’s mission and objectives.Content Development: Create content for materials and presentations for various internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and impact.Event Planning and Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating internal and external events such as WEF’s Annual Meeting in Davos and APEC. Special focus on the communication vertical, ensuring that Visa’s message is well-communicated.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
