Senior BIM Modeller - Rail Track Design

The Senior BIM Modeller is a critical role within our organization, responsible for applying advanced knowledge and expertise to complex rail track design projects. This position demands a high level of proficiency in industry-standard software and a deep understanding of BIM principles.Key responsibilities include:Demonstrate mastery of Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, and/or Bentley MicroStation, OpenRail Designer or equivalent software to create sophisticated 3D models and 2D drawings with minimal supervision.Utilize extensive knowledge to develop and implement innovative solutions for complex problems within rail track design projects.Independently manage and execute BIM-related tasks while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.Conduct thorough analyses and apply advanced problem-solving techniques to address atypical challenges within the realm of rail track design and BIM implementation.Contribute significantly to the development and refinement of BIM standards, best practices, and methodologies within the organization.Mentor junior team members in BIM techniques and rail track design principles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.Rigorously adhere to and promote industry standards, ensuring the highest level of quality and accuracy in all BIM deliverables.Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements in BIM workflows.Participate in client meetings and presentations, articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously enhancing personal expertise and contributing to the organization's competitive edge in the rail track design sector.
