Responsibilities
Safely load, transport, and deliver fuel products such as heating oil or gasoline to designated locations.
Accurately deposit products into customer receptacles and ensure clean, precise deliveries.
Record and maintain meter and gauge readings before and after each load.
Complete and submit all required trip sheets, delivery tickets, and paperwork.
Maintain assigned vehicles and equipment in safe, clean condition; report maintenance needs promptly.
Communicate effectively with Dispatch regarding schedules, load availability, and issues.
Adhere to all DOT, safety, and company policies and procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned by Dispatch or the Delivery Manager.
Qualifications
Valid CDL Class A or B with Hazmat Endorsement
Clean Driving Record meeting insurance requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience hauling hazardous materials preferred
Must pass:
DOT Physical and Medical Exam
Pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings
Background check
Must be able to work in all weather conditions and independently with minimal supervision.
Strong work ethic, dependability, and a positive attitude are essential.
Physical Requirements
Ability to climb, lift, stoop, kneel, reach, and pull.
Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
Must be able to climb on and off vehicles safely.
