The Customer Shipping Lead oversees daily shipping operations to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. The role assigns tasks, reviews documentation, and supports team members while maintaining safety and efficiency. Candidates need shipping or warehouse experience and strong computer and WMS skills.Schedule: Monday - Friday 3pm to 11pmOvertime ExpectationsOccasional overtime may be required, including Saturdays, when business needs demand it.Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day functions within the Customer Shipping department to ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on scheduleAssign daily tasks and provide directions to team members to maintain an efficient workflowServe as the primary point of contact for internal departments and external partners regarding shipment status updates, delivery timelines, and shipment-related concernsReview and ensure accuracy of all shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and labels, and verify shipments meet customer and carrier standardsProvide hands-on guidance, training, and coaching to shipping team members while supporting continuous improvement and safety procedures.Work EnvironmentFast-paced warehouse environment requiring standing, walking, and hands-on work throughout the shiftCollaborative setting with frequent interaction across departmentsMust follow all safety procedures and proactively identify hazards
