Responsible, experienced team member needed for a restoration company. Expected 30-40 hours/week to begin with increasing to 40hrs/week (or possibly more if wanted) after we have you trained up. Looking for someone with demolition experience (no exceptions) and some simple rebuild experience. I need a dependable person who will be fully responsible for the work van, tools, communication and organization.
The job consists of carefully removing specific areas of materials such as drywall, flooring, framing, insulation. Lots of jobs where you need to remove tile or vinyl and cut out the affected area of a sub floor around a toilet. I cannot trust these jobs to someone who has no experience cutting out a sub floor, for instance.
There will be days where you will need to do some liquid sanitation and cleaning, typically either in a basement or it can also be in a crawlspace or an attic. So you will need to be able bodied.
There are lots of more skilled carpentry jobs such as re-flashing decks in which I will pay you a much higher wage. Ideally for the rebuild jobs you have your own LLC, tools, insurance and I pay you $50-$60/hr to your LLC.
You will need to learn and be aware of all safety protocols for demolition.
Starting wage will depend on your experience and skills.
