All inquiries has to have for than 10 years of experience handling residents with behavioural issues and mental health issues. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home care, assisted living, nursing homes, and community programs. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents and clients through personalized care, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by delivering comprehensive care tailored to each individual's needs.

Duties

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support

Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing changes in condition

Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations

Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements and assist with meal consumption when necessary

Maintain a clean and safe environment through light cleaning and sanitation tasks

Support patients with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies

Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts to safely transfer residents with mobility challenges

Document patient observations, care activities, and progress accurately in compliance with healthcare standards

Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a caring environment

Assist with transportation to medical appointments or community activities as needed

Requirements

Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or working with people with disabilities is preferred

Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, and HIPAA compliance are highly desirable

Knowledge of patient monitoring, medication administration, and vital signs measurement

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, Alzheimer's or dementia is a plus

Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and operate patient support equipment like Hoyer lifts

Strong observational skills for patient safety and condition monitoring

Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills

Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various care environments

Flexibility to work different shifts as needed; previous experience in long-term or hospice care is advantageous
