Overview: Aston Carter is partnering with a small manufacturing company to hire an Accountant. This person will get exposure to many aspects of accounting and gain management experience.Description:
Daily Accounts Receivable and bank reconciliation
Month End Journal Entries
Monthly Inventory Reconciliation
Produce monthly and quarterly financial statements
Oversee all Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable which includes supervising another employee.
Collection of Aged Receivables
Review all payable invoices for accuracy before being entered into Sage
Create weekly forecast of Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables
Create and assign job numbers to all projects. Prepare invoices and track all milestone invoices and payments.
Work closely with Field Service Manager to assure accuracy of weekly field service invoices.
Prepare emergency cost write-ups for Field Service Manager to review before creating the invoices for the emergency jobs.
Audit monthly American Express bill Sales Tax for seven states Work closely with bank personnel for loan transactions and renewals
Human Resource duties, including onboarding new personnel and administration of company benefits
Payroll administration, including weekly 401k distribution, prepare annual 5500 report. Calculate Profit Sharing contributions when awarded.
Review and verify weekly expense reports Complete and file annual OSHA report and Manufacturing Report
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
3-5 years experience of full cycle Accounting
Manufacturing industry experience
Previous experience with benefits, 401k, and payroll
