Plenty Unlimited, Inc. seeks multiple Research Associate III in Laramie, Wyoming.
Responsibilities: the Research Associate III will work cross-functionally with Scientists and Engineers to design and execute experiments in horticulture, physiology, engineering, and production. Duties include: planning, implementing and executing projects to completion and reporting out the results; identifying, implementing, and documenting Research & Development (R&D) best practices for integration into system design, production research, and cultivation practices; participating at all levels of trial management, from concept through completion; staying up to date on advancements in Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) production and plant science; integrating existing and new methods to drive yield, quality, and plant health; and other duties as assigned.
Education: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Plant Science, or a related field.
Requirements: 2 years of experience in the job offered or related positions. Other special requirements include: 2 years of experience performing research-scale production, execution of horticultural trials, and completion of research projects; 2 years of experience working with statistical and environmental models for plant growth and development; 2 years of experience developing protocols and conducting trials at all stages of plant growth; and 1 year of experience in Controlled Environment Agriculture production.
