Fractional Controller

The Fractional Controller is a thought partner to Pivotal Finance’s larger clients with more complex finance and accounting needs. Responsible for providing financial leadership and support, this person will work with a diverse spectrum of projects for clients in multiple industries and geographies. In addition to daily responsibilities such as developing and implementing financial policies and procedures, managing the accounting and reporting functions and providing financial analysis and advice, the Fractional Controller will​​ work on large, high-dollar projects to fix large-scale problems for our clients.The Fractional Controller job responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Review and assess the existing accounting environment of clients, recommending and implementing process and system improvements including client staff trainingReview financial statements and reconciliations for reasonableness and accuracy, prior to presentation to client management (i.e. trial balance, income statement, balance sheet)Assist with client budget preparations and forecastsManage relationships and requests with auditors and other financial professionalsAssist outsourced CFO practice leader with other time-sensitive projectsProvide custom financial reports and oversee other financial operations, as needed
