XS Health is a nationwide leader in medical scheduling and peer review services (no direct patient contact) and is seeking a bright, young, energetic and motivated physician (MD, DO, DC) or physician's assistant, nurse, or pharmacist to join our team as a Medical Records Analyst at our Birmingham location.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Workers compensation case triage
- Workers compensation medical records consolidation
- Disability review quality assurance
- Editing evidence-based guidelines database
- Complying with URAC standards
- Corresponding with our panel of board-certified specialists
- Communication / liaison between clients and board-certified physicians
Requirements:
- Medical school graduate or relevant medical training with clinical experience (such as PA, nurse)
- excellent communication skills
- professional demeanor
- strong work ethics
- proficiency with Mac computers
- 'can do' spirit, positive attitude and a team player
- Clinical experience a definite plus
- FAST TYPING REQUIRED
As this is a supporting position with no patient contact and no clinical duties, an active medical license is not required.
