MRG is also partners with Leo Burnett Detroit and a member of the Publicis Worldwide global network.Job DescriptionProvides support to a team of Media Planners across all aspects of the group's functions. Will utilize research tools to gather data to develop media recommendations and presentations, collaborate among the team to offer appropriate support for planning assignments and special projects, and assist in the maintenance of media plans and reports.Responsibilities:

Access syndicated research tools such as Scarborough, Nielsen, and SQAD to pull demographic data and consumer profiles to help identify specific media vehicles and strategies to best reach a target audience

Assist in maintaining flowcharts/plans

Assist in maintaining budget updates and spreadsheets

Prepare Excel reports and assist with analyzing media planning data

Work closely with Planners to help prepare/edit PowerPoint presentations and other details presented to field clients

Four-year degree in the area of Advertising, Marketing or a similar discipline

A minimum of one college course during which media planning was a topic studied

Completion of a project that centered around and/or included media planning as part of the assignment

Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Solid math skills

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Participation in an internship that included work in the media planning area is preferred
