Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Store Room Attendant to join their team. As a Store Room Attendant, you will be part of the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of indirect materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as with a small team.Job Title: Store Room Attendant - All ShiftsLocation: Birmingham, ALSchedule: Monday through Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30PMsome weekend work requiredPay Range: $17.75 per hourWhat's the Job?
Perform physical or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of indirect materials, parts, supplies, and equipment
Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders, invoices, and SAP
Maintain records of received goods and reject unsatisfactory items
Lift heavy items and operate a forklift
Prepare and maintain records of indirect materials shipped
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or equivalent
Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for work visa.
Must be able to pass a drug test
Must have a valid COVID-19 test or vaccination card and/or if unvaccinated you must test at regular intervals
1-2 years of related experience in Data Entry, Order Mgmt-shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment is preferred
