Cook / Kitchen Manager Needed for Hampton Cove Preschool
pay: $12.00/hour
employment type: full-time (7am. - 3pm. Monday - Friday)
We are looking to add a full-time cook / kitchen manager to our preschool. The position is full-time, year-round. The hours are 7am. - 3pm. (Monday - Friday). The pay is $12.00/hour. Employees are eligible for paid holidays, health insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield and vacation time accrual after the 90 day introductory period. All employees must pass a background check and drug test as we are a licensed child care facility.
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED. Experience in a food related field preferred. Employees must have a valid Serve-Safe certification (or be willing to work toward ones) to work as the kitchen manager.
Responsibilities:
1.Ensure that the kitchen meets licensing, safety, and health requirements.
2. Maintain kitchen and all supplies.
3. Orders all food and paper supplies.
4. Keep all records of supplies purchased and invoices.
5. Prepares all meals daily following prepared menu.
6. Relates well with children and families.
7. Clean kitchen daily and conference room weekly.
