NOW HIRINGElectronic Assembler/Solder TechnicianLocation: HuntsvillePay: $17-20JOB DESCRIPTION:
Perform assembly and soldering of electronic components to military standards (IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001), ensuring the reliability and integrity of defense systems.
Assemble and solder surface mount (SMT) and through-hole components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
Inspect solder joints and assemblies using magnification tools and testing equipment to verify compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
Operate soldering equipment, including soldering irons, rework stations, and wave soldering machines, safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve soldering-related issues, optimize processes, and implement corrective actions.
