Find your future with us.Bring your skills and talents to the Patriot Advanced Capability Missile Seeker (PAC-3) development team in Huntsville, AL. We are seeking an execution technical lead to drive the development of the next generation seeker. In this role, you will be the technical leader for the execution of the PAC-3 Seeker Block V development.Position Responsibilities:Demonstrated experience in pulse doppler radar system architectures and design/test practices

Exhibited knowledge in missile system development and weapon system integration

Utilize technical and program management techniques to manage large-scale technical development efforts integration

Experience with PAC-3 Seeker development, qualification, and fielding

Experience with early program lifecycle development and risk reduction activities

Experience with Enterprise Standard Gated Process (ESGP), where you will establish criteria and artifacts and have approval authority for key program milestones (PDR, CDR, etc.)

Understanding of Model Based Engineering practices and tools

Understanding of Agile Development practices and tools for hardware and software development

Experience leading technical aspect of proposal preparation.

Expertise in Gigabit High-Speed Serial Interfaces like Serial RapidIO (SRIO), Aurora, or Peripheral Component Interconnect express (PCIe)

Expertise in multiple domains including digital/analog/mixed signal design, embedded systems, power electronics, RF, systems engineering, or optical system design

Experience working other engineering teams (e.g. board designers, system engineers, requirement engineers, reliability engineers, engineers), to ensure the ASIC/FPGA functions safely and reliably when deployed by assisting in Worst Case Circuit Analysis, IO timing, IO type selection, life analysis, software con-ops, MTBF analysis, etc.

Experience leading development of architectural approaches from customer and system requirements

Hands on experience with integration and debug practices

Extensive experience managing/leading engineering projects

Proven experience effectively communicating and collaborating on multi-discipline teams

Experience mentoring junior engineers

Experience leading multi-discipline design teams or a special project teams

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

Ten (10) or more years of experience in analysis of requirements, architecture design and product design

Ten (10) or more years of experience leading a multi-skilled (electrical, mechanical, project, systems, etc.) Engineering teams

Active Interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):Masters or Doctorate of Science degree in Engineering or related science or technology field degree

Ten (10) or more years of experience in pulse doppler radar system architectures and design/test practices

Experience in missile system development and weapon system integration

Experience using technical and program management techniques to manage large-scale technical development efforts integration

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 20 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+15 years' related work experience, Master+18 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
