Construction Inspector

AECOM is currently seeking a Construction Inspector Aide to support projects located within the Montgomery, AL area. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in construction inspection while working alongside experienced professionals in the field.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Relies on detailed instructions and pre-established guidelines to effectively perform assigned job functions while following standard procedures and project requirementsWorks under immediate supervision, receiving guidance and direction from senior inspectors or project managers to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficientlyResponsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and applicable code requirements by performing thorough and consistent inspection duties in the fieldPerforms daily field inspections, documenting observations and maintaining accurate, organized inspection records to support project tracking and complianceParticipates in the development of punch lists, as well as testing and commissioning activities, to help ensure all systems and components meet project standards prior to completionTracks quality assurance progress throughout various stages of construction, identifying issues and supporting corrective actions to maintain project qualityProvides input and support for documentation related to area and equipment turnovers, assisting in the preparation of closeout materials and ensuring a smooth transition to operations
