The individual will operate multiple types of radioanalytical instruments including performing analytical analysis of quality control samples, as well as interpretation and evaluation of the analytical results. Perform preventive maintenance on multiple types of radioanalytical instruments which includes maintaining proper levels of liquid nitrogen and P-10 gas as well as assessing, proposing, and executing corrective actions in the event a radioanalytical component fails.

Additional duties include:

- Perform analytical analysis of quality control samples and radiation backgrounds on multiple types of radioanalytical instrumentation. Interpret and evaluate analytical results, as well as advise and propose corrective actions in the event of failures.

- Perform preventive maintenance on multiple types of radioanalytical instrumentation which includes maintaining the proper levels of liquid nitrogen and P-10 gas. Assess, propose, and execute corrective actions in the event a radioanalytical instrument component fails.

- Following completion of analytical analysis, removes environmental samples from multiple types of radioanalytical instruments.

- Review and verify entry of environmental samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
