A Service Writer must provide support to drivers, mechanics and office teams daily as outlined below. This position is in a repair shop environment. You will handle the organization of shop workflow, writing up Work Orders, Purchase orders, overseeing a parts inventory, and providing end of month inventory counts. This is a seasonal paced work environment.Qualified individuals will have a deep understanding of diesel engines, truck parts, DOT regulations, and heavy-duty repair processes. In this role, the ideal individual must have the ability to translate complex technical jargon into clear, understandable terms for the customer.
