Job Title: Parts Development EngineerJob DescriptionAs a Parts Development Engineer, you will represent Development and Quality Engineering interests across all aspects of product areas. Your role involves consulting with internal departments and component suppliers on development-related topics and supporting change management, including supplier support, release preparation, and documentation maintenance. You will communicate with relevant development departments in Sindelfingen and other foreign plants as needed. Additionally, you will support Quality Operations and Service & Parts by investigating malfunctions, solving problems at dealerships or with customers, and examining defective parts for conformance to design specifications using precision instruments. Your responsibilities also include analyzing developmental issues, establishing countermeasures, leading cross-functional problem-solving activities, assisting production during the Production Trial phase, initiating product planning changes, and approving product deviation requests to support product quality.Hard Skills
