Take 2 dental implant studio is Alaska’s first and only implant practice dedicated to the life-changing immediate-load full arch-dental implant procedure.
We are changing lives by giving people same-day teeth even in the worst of conditions in one day with our all-digital protocol and in-house dental lab. We do one day surgeries under IV sedation or General anesthesia where we remove all remaining teeth, clean out all infection, graft defects place 12-16 dental implants and then close and place same day 3d printed fixed restorations. Most patients leave with fixed teeth or get them by the next day. We are looking for a male surgical and prosthetic assistant to replace one of our employees who is going to dental school in July.
No prior dental assisting experience necessary, however applicant must be compassionate, a self-starter, people oriented (extrovert) and have some knowledge of wrenching skills and be able to learn quickly.
Job description:
Greet new patients, take CT scans and necessary diagnostic imaging, Evaluate medical history, Explain procedure to patients, and get all necessary consents. Utilize 3D imaging including intraoral 3D optical scanners, 3d face scanners, digital impression taking equipment such as iCAM. Remove and replace temporary and permanent fixed implant prosthetics utilizing correct torque values, adjusting in occlusion, etc. Denture or dental laboratory experience is a definite plus. Applicant must be able to support individuals up to 250 pounds, as all of our surgeries are under IV sedation. Reason for preference on male assistant is for comfort of the patient should we need to escort a male patient to the restroom after sedation (we already have a female assistant).
