JANITOR (Fairview Center) – Ensure the center is clean, safe and left in an orderly condition each day. Clean floors, windows and other surfaces; remove trash and replenish supplies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Six months related experience and/or training
Ability to understand and explain verbal and written instructions
Knowledge of approved cleaning and sanitation methods
Awareness and knowledge of safety standards
Integrity and ability to work independently
Valid Driver's License, current auto insurance and a good driving record
PHYSICAL/MENTAL ABILITIES AND PROCESSES:
Constant standing during shift
Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping and repetitive arm/hand movements
Frequent lifting of 25-50 lbs.
Occasional pushing and pulling of heavy furniture and equipment
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Pre-hire: Fingerprinting/Background Check
Health Report
Post-hire: Annual Physical/Health History
CPR and First Aid Certification
Food Worker Card
Precautions Against Bloodborne Pathogens training
Emergency Planning for Child Care Providers training
Proof of current Driver’s License and auto insurance
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Location: Fairview Center (Wasilla area)
Supervisor: Center Coordinator
Schedule: Full-time during school (40 hrs/wk), part-time during summer break (20 hrs/wk), full-year (49 weeks/yr)
Salary: $17.89 – $22.03 per hour DOE
