JOB SUMMARY:
Under general direction, completes various project activities, including demolition, layout, concrete form work, framing (wood and/or metal), scaffold building, drywall and acoustical ceilings installation, door, hardware and window installation, casework assembly and installation, and finish trim work. Interacts with team members, subcontractors and other trades as it relates to the project. Helps prepare work areas for subsequent trades and observes all safety and quality requirements necessary.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
A good understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
Recommend solutions to design problems, including conflicts, interferences and errors/omissions.
Monitor and execute field work to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications, and codes.
Follow established safety rules and regulations, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
