Birch Center Coordinator
Interior Alaska Center for Non-Violent Living is looking for a Birch Center Coordinator to join our team. In this position you will have the opportunity to implement the goals, objectives and policies related to the Center's supervised visitation and exchange services to include coordinating required community partnerships, intake interviews, visitations, and exchange schedules. As a supervisor, the Birch Center Coordinator will also substitute for program staff when necessary, oversee staff scheduling, oversee weekly case conferencing, oversee maintenance of service records and client information, conduct monthly reviews of active case files, ensure monthly/quarterly statistics are complete, assist the Community Services Director with grant reports and periodic evaluations, communicate maintenance needs to the appropriate staff, provide community trainings and presentations, update all training manuals for the program, and any other duties as assigned at the discretion of the Community Services Director.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, Social Work or closely related field. Understanding of chemical addictions and mental illness. One year experience working in the domestic violence field. One year supervisory experience. Proficient with computers, data base input, presentation programs and equipment. Commitment to the agency mission and goals. Excellent interpersonal, group, and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and lifestyles. Valid Ak driver's license. Ability to pass background check
