Gene's is looking for a person who possesses a cheery disposition, excellent customer service skills and is detail oriented.
The cashier will perform the following duties including – accept cash/credit card/check payments, issue receipts, close invoices, scan previous day's documents and close the cash register correctly, file invoices, close books, refill the coffee machine, check out keys for the sales department and help keep the office tidy as needed. These are all trainable tasks. This person is first on customers and phones while completing daily duties.
The cashier also provides information to customers and co-workers and helps maintain a clean office work space. They must also be willing to handle the responsibilities listed and other duties as needed, in an occasionally quick moving environment. It is helpful to have basic accounting knowledge, it is not required, we will train the right person.
This position is Tuesday through Saturday position with occasional Mondays as needed. The Tuesday through Friday hours are from 10AM - 7PM and Saturdays from 10AM - 6PM.
We are willing to work with high school and college hours, as needed. Saturdays are required, unless arrangements are made.
