Southeast Childhood Collective (formerly AEYC) is hiring a Finance Manager to support our growing nonprofit as we expand programs across Southeast Alaska and build a new Family & Child Care Center in Juneau.
SCC strengthens the early childhood ecosystem through family support programs, professional development, statewide workforce pipelines, community partnerships, and major public-private initiatives. We manage a diverse portfolio of grants and contracts—not just child care funding—and we need a finance leader who can help us continue to grow responsibly and sustainably.
What You’ll Do
Oversee all accounting functions: payroll, reconciliations, AP/AR, cash flow, and financial controls.
Manage organizational and program budgets across multiple funding streams.
Lead financial reporting for leadership, the Board, funders, and partners.
Track, invoice, and report on federal, state, local, and private grants.
Support financial management for our major capital project.
Improve financial systems and guide staff in grant-compliant spending.
Coordinate annual audit and required filings.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in nonprofit or multi-fund financial management.
Strong skills in QuickBooks and Excel.
Ability to manage details while seeing the big picture.
Clear communicator who can translate financial information for various audiences.
Someone excited to support a mission-driven organization building new programs, partnerships, and regional capacity.
