Heavy Equipment Operators and HD Mechanics

The Alaska Operating Engineers/Employers Training Trust is pleased to announce recruitment for Heavy Equipment Operators, HD Mechanics, and Service Oilers. To be eligible, applicants must submit all required documents: Completed application: HS Transcripts & Diploma or GED test scores & Certificate; Birth certificate (proof of 18 years of age, 21 for Service Oilers) Valid Driver’s license (must be an AK license upon first day of training). Must be a license holder 1 year prior to applying. (Rural Alaskans, off road system, may contact our office); 5-year DMV Full Individual Driving Record (showing no DUIs in the past 3 years); Background Check (minimum 5 years); Social Security card; DD214 (for veterans); $30.00 non-refundable application fee; résumé, letters of recommendation & certificates of training (optional); Note: pre-indenture drug testing required.
