Job Title: Machine OperatorJob DescriptionThis position is responsible for the set-up, clean up, and production associated with the packing of cream cheese products. The role involves operating various production line equipment and assisting with packaging and shipping processes.Responsibilities
Operate production line equipment including packers, positive pumps, processors, and labelers.
Set up labelers, install heat seals on products, and assemble positive pumps.
Inspect product for quality and accuracy.
Load cups into boxers, requiring wrist twisting and gripping.
Assist with packaging products into boxes for shipping.
Support other departments with finishing products at any point of the production line.
Essential Skills
Experience in production and machine operation.
General labor and machine operating skills.
Ability to read blueprints.
Forklift operating skills.
Mechanical aptitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Efficiency and quality in packaging operations, including meeting specifications for cup weight, counts, yield, and product codes.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Frequent loading of cups into boxers, requiring wrist twisting and gripping.
