About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Selection Specialistto join the Selection &Assessment (S&A) team. The S&A team provides expert consultation and best-in-class tools and processes to help Managers and Recruiters select high-quality talent as easily as possible while helping Wells Fargo mitigate risk in the hiring process. You will have an opportunity to work with Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, and business leaders across the enterprise to create and validate a variety of selection tools and support large-scale selection initiatives, including the company's online assessment program.In this role, you will:

Act as a subject matter expert on selection methodology and contribute to the continuous improvement of S&A team strategy and delivery

Create and validate a variety of selection tools

Consult with recruiters and business leadership in support of selection activities, as well as contribute to large scale planning related to functional area deliverables

Review and analyze moderately complex operational challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors

Develop and validate custom selection tools and processes, and support the development of tools and processes by third party vendors

Analyze the effectiveness of current selection processes and lead improvement initiatives

Develop processes and materials for recruiters and managers, enabling them to use selection tools and techniques more effectively

Provide expertise on assessment policy and regulatory requirements

Resolve moderately complex issues and meet project deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Selection experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology

Experience developing and validating selection tools and processes

Experience consulting on selection and assessment policies and best practices with peers, leaders, and business partners

Experience working in a consulting firm or highly matrixed environment

Experience identifying, assessing, and evaluating vendor provided services

Knowledge and understanding of state and federal employment laws, AA/EEO recruiting and hiring policies

Experience reviewing, interpreting, and evaluating statistical analyses and technical documentation related to assessment tools

Experience with large-scale selection and assessment initiatives

Job Expectations:

Position will require onsite presence in a hybrid capacity, minimum 3 days in the office, in one of the cities/locations listed

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Relocation assistance is not available for this position

Selected candidate will be required to work within one of the following Wells Fargo locations: Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; Des Moines, IA; Dallas, TX; San Antonio, TX; and Phoenix/Chandler, AZ
