ABOUT THE ROLE
As Kitchen Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all the Back of the House (BOH) responsibilities and employees of the restaurant, while maintaining a positive work environment through inspiring, developing, and providing a team-focused (always innovative) vision of excellence.
The Kitchen Manager leads, in conjunction with the General Manager.
In this position the Kitchen Manager -
Is responsible for monitoring all BOH products and labor costs, while doing their best to optimize profit for the company.
Leads with a high degree of integrity and has a passion for Kennelly Concept's mission.
Is responsible for ordering all food products according to predetermined product specifications and receiving in correct unit count and condition. Ensures all par levels are maintained.
Controls food costs and usage by following proper requisition of products from storage areas, product storage procedures, standard recipes, and waste control procedures.
Creates prep lists, plans, and prioritizes the shift agendas for all staff members.
Must have the ability to perform all responsibilities of each position in the kitchen and leads the line by example.
Ensures a high standard of service efficiency, sanitation, and training and safety practices.
Maintains a high-level of knowledge regarding all of the company’s products, culture and other concepts.
Ultimately, is responsible for all aspects and success of the BOH operations.

REQUIREMENTS
Coconino Food Managers Certification
Prior Kitchen Manager experience required
BBQ Pit Master experience a plus
