Find your future with us.The Boeing Indirect Supply Chain (ISC) organization is seeking Mid-Level Procurement Agents (Level 3) to develop source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies that integrate program, customer, product and in-service strategies.Our ISC organization is responsible for the sourcing, procurement and contract management of all indirect and Center of Excellence goods and services across Boeing’s global enterprise and is critical to enabling company operations.Categories within ISC scope include: Information Technology (e.g. Software, Infrastructure), Factory & Production Support (e.g. Capital Equipment, Tooling, Automation, Consumables), Enterprise & Corporate Services (e.g. Construction & Facilities Services, Logistics & Freight), and Engineering Test & Technology (e.g. Research & Technology, University Agreements).Indirect Supply Chain is a fast-paced, dynamic organization where you will work with peers and colleagues in other functions on exciting sourcing and contract management initiatives. We pride ourselves on performance, quality, and diversity.Position Responsibilities:Develop source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies that integrate program, customer, product and in-service strategies.

Assess suppliers’ company health, performance and capability to deliver products and services

Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions

Evaluate supplier proposals for cost, lead time, quality and risk

Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements

Conduct risk, issues and opportunities management

Analyze external market and internal demand

Monitor and manage supplier performance by: Identifying root cause and recovery plans; Managing supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance; Initiating supplier improvement activities and integrating results into contracting strategies

Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity

Contribute to development of new job practices, techniques, and standards

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is expected based on business needs and in-person meetings as required.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):More than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management

More than 3 years of experience negotiating contractual terms and conditions

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):More than 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain processes

More than 5 years of experience with SAP Ariba and/or NWP or equivalent procurement system

More than 5 years of experience with PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis and presentations

More than 5 years of experience implementing process or strategy improvements in dealing with suppliers

More than 5 years of experience leading supplier terms & conditions and price negotiations

Typical Education & Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master + 4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
