Scottsdale-based company is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its team. This position is built for someone who is accurate, steady, and capable of handling daily accounting activity without hand-holding. You’ll work directly with the accounting department across receivables, payables, posting, and general operational accounting in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Handle routine Accounts Receivable tasks, including invoicing and payment application
Complete daily posting activity
Prepare and record bank deposits with accuracy and timeliness
Assist with inventory processes, including cycle counts and reconciliation support
Maintain accurate financial records and assist with mid-month and month-end close activities
Communicate with internal teams and customers to resolve basic accounting questions
Support ad-hoc accounting projects and administrative tasks
Perform month-end bank reconciliations
Requirements
2+ years of hands-on accounting experience
Formal accounting education preferred
Proficiency with QuickBooks, ERP systems, and Excel
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Solid understanding of core accounting principles
Ability to manage daily workflows independently and meet deadlines
Professional communication skills and a reliable work ethic
