Atrilogys Direct Client is looking for a Vmware Engineer to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. This is a Full Time Direct Hire role 100% Onsite. Title: VMware Engineer Location: Phoenix, AZ Duration: Full Time Direct Hire Job Description:
- Operate as a technical expert on infrastructure projects specifically around Storage, Vmware Virtual Machines/VDI, Cloud Services, Monitoring, File Services, Data Protection, and DR.
- Performance analysis and optimization, problem resolution, upgrade planning, and documentation.
- Design and develop high performance, highly available systems.
- Help resolve complex IT issues in a Tier 3 capacity.
- Train/Mentor junior members of the team.
- Runs daily IT infrastructure operations to ensure high availability and proactive event and problem management.
- Engage with business stakeholders to proactively develop solutions to help them be more productive.
- Manage a portfolio of technology projects which support present and future business goals.
- Continuously looks for areas of potential process improvement, ability to make a business case, and implement.
- Well-developed, experienced, troubleshooting skillset.
- Ability to multitask between the support of existing technologies and evaluation/deployment of new services to support business technology needs
- A Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university or its equivalent is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience working with Windows Server environments.
- 5+ years of experience working with VMware ESXi.
- Pure Storage, or other Enterprise NAS administration
- PowerShell / PowerCLI
- Extensive experience in the support of mission-critical enterprise services.
- Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Proven record of exceptional project management and prioritizing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Vmware Horizon View, incorporating Azure Windows Virtual Desktop
- Nasuni Hybrid Cloud File System
- Familiarity with administering, automating, and deploying to cloud-based environments such as Azure or AWS.
- IT staffing and placement such as Project Managers, Agile/Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, DBAs, Software Engineers, Mobile Developers (iOS, Android), DevOps, Automation, QA, Systems & Network Engineers, Cyber Security / Information Security Specialists, ERP, CRM, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Big Data and Creative (UI/UX, Web Design)
- Operational staffing and placement of Accounting/Finance, Human Resources, and Marketing professionals, as well as Information Technology resources.
