Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix Arizona is seeking an experienced Materials Scheduler to join their team.The Materials Scheduler is a key contributor to our production team, responsible for efficiently planning and coordinating the flow of materials. As a Materials Scheduler, you will collaborate with purchasing, production, and engineering departments to ensure seamless material availability throughout the production process.Day Shift: Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm or 7am - 3pmPay rate: Starting at $27/HRKey Responsibilities: Material Planning and Scheduling: Develop and manage production schedules, ensuring timely availability of materials for manufacturing operations. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with purchasing, production, and engineering teams to align material requirements with production needs. Experience and Judgment: Rely on your experience and sound judgment to make informed decisions related to material planning and scheduling. Leadership: May lead and direct the work of others, ensuring smooth material flow throughout the production cycle. Problem-Solving: Address scheduling challenges, adapt to changes, and optimize resource utilization. Reporting: Typically report to a manager or department head, providing updates on material availability and production timelines.Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in materials planning, production scheduling, or a related field.Skills: Materials management Supply chain knowledge Effective communication Attention to detail Problem-solving abilitiesMust be:
Proficient with software systems (SAP).
Proficient with Microsoft Office (including Excel, Access)
Previous Aerospace Material Scheduling is preferred.
