DescriptionPerform a variety of Production Equipment Maintenance. Backup other maintenance personnel on projects as required.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical system problems such as electrical circuits, controls, motor, proximity switches, and PLCs I/O system, and relay-base, using root cause analysis principles and taking corrective action to repair or replacing the electrical and mechanical component.
Debug, and repair production equipment 240/480- single or 3 phase and DC 24 voltage systems, AC/DC circuit, frequency drives, load cells, power distribution, induction motor, and other machine control components, as quickly and safely as possible to ensure minimal production downtime on manufacturing equipment.
Follow preventive maintenance schedule for equipment. Keep neat and accurate repair records and other department information such as walk-throughs and daily inspections on manufacturing equipment in the plant.
Responsible for equipment installations, retrofits, and upgrades on the electrical and mechanical systems.
Identify and troubleshoot sources of mechanical failure. Make recommendations and report problems to the immediate Supervisor for future improvements on building and or equipment in the manufacturing facility
Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Production Lead, Team Supervisor or Department Manager.
Be available to work on an on-call basis.
Conduct trials & report on results in order to improve and maximize equipment performance and utilization

Proficiency in using test and measurement tools such as multimeters and calipers.
Strong understanding of electronic and pneumatic schematics for troubleshooting.
Commitment to safety procedures, including OSHA Lock Out/Tag Out requirements.
