The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will provide psychotherapy, counselling, and support to individuals and groups dealing with emotional, behavioral, and social challenges at DOS/DOD facilities in Iraq. Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of mental health disorders and emotional issues, using clinical interviews, observations, and standardized assessment tools.
Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to clients' needs, including individual, family, and group therapy.
Respond to and manage acute crises, providing immediate support and intervention as needed.
Educate clients and families about mental health issues, treatment options, and resources available.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and other professionals, to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance with ethical and legal standards.
Engage in community service and outreach to promote awareness of mental health issues and available services.
Completes required organizational compliance education, including assigned requirements that are client-specified, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.
