Position Summary:
The Sauté Cook is responsible for preparing and executing sauté station dishes with consistency, speed, and attention to detail. You’ll work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and uphold our standards for flavor, presentation, and food safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items assigned to the sauté station according to recipes and quality standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked station before, during, and after service
Coordinate timing with other line cooks to ensure efficient service
Assist with daily prep tasks, including chopping, portioning, and sauce preparation
Monitor food freshness and communicate any product needs or concerns to the chef or sous chef
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety guidelines
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented kitchen environment
Qualifications:
Previous line cook or sauté experience preferred
Strong knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and composure
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
