We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, such as inspecting and repairing equipment, replacing worn parts, and ensuring that all safety regulations are followed. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
The Work You'll Do:
Completion of make ready units to Bliven standards and maintains adequate supply of make-ready units for the Community.
Assist with maintenance of grounds such as trash pick-up, sweep sidewalks and light landscaping
Completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned
Repair and treat structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls and building interior/exterior
Schedule and complete preventative maintenance
Trouble-shoot, diagnose and correct minor air conditioning and/or heating failures, appliance repairs, electrical problems, plumbing problems, minor carpentry and drywall repairs.
Complete minor roof repairs, re-key locks, and cut keys.
Inspect the property for safety hazards that may pose a liability and corrects the hazard to informs Service Supervisor of the hazard.
Maintenance emergency on-call duty readily available to go the property if needed for emergency calls.
Maintain an excellent customer service relationship with all residents and team members.
Daily monitoring inventory of parts and cleaning supplies.
Demonstrate an ability to support and contribute to the community team.
Adhere to Bliven Residential Safety Programs, policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
The Skills You'll Bring:
Reliable transportation

General knowledge in the following areas; Basic Plumbing, basic Electrical, basic HVAC, Carpentry, Landscape Maintenance, Appliances
Knowledge of building systems
Experience as apartment turn technician, make ready technician or work order technician is highly desirable
