The Parking Attendant role is crucial to the flow of traffic. The Parking attendant duties include the following:
Issue parking permits by providing high level of customer service for visitors, staff and patients within the parking department.
Responsible for proper function of cash register, computer and all other equipment related to business operation.
Accurately collect, balance and report sales following departmental procedures on a daily basis.
Prepares and submit daily deposits as per departmental procedure
Take steps to resolve customer concerns/problems as required.
Post transaction reports in the database as per departmental policy
Qualifications/Skills:
Successful completion of High school required
Ability to work with minimal supervision, sense of urgency, customer/client focused
Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
Demonstrated good communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to lift minor parking equipment to meet the physical demands of the position
Works in parking booths when the need arise
Issue warning or ticket to those in violation of parking restrictions
