Madden Industrial Craftsmen, a premier staffing agency, is looking to fill Hairpin Bending Machine Operator with a Manufacturing company located in Phoenix, AZ. The client specializes in custom heat exchanger coils, fluid coolers, and remote air-cooled condensers for OEM and replacement markets.

Pay Rate: $19-$23/hour DOE

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2nd Shift; 1:30PM-10:00PM, occasionally on Saturdays (mandatory)

This is a Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Hairpin Bending Machine Operator Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and monitor hairpin bending machines, CNC machines, or other metal-forming equipment to manufacture components according to specifications.

Interpret blueprints, adjust machine parameters (speed, feed, depth of cut), and ensure precise bending and cutting operations.

Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools to ensure compliance with quality standards; make adjustments as necessary.

Conduct regular preventative maintenance on machines, troubleshoot minor issues, and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs to minimize downtime.

Load, unload, and feed raw materials (e.g., copper, aluminum, or steel tubing) into the machine, ensuring proper alignment and secure positioning.

Maintain detailed records of production output, machine settings, maintenance logs, and quality control checks.

Follow all OSHA and company safety standards to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Hairpin Bending Machine Operator Requirements:

1+ years of experience in a machining, CNC operation, or metal fabrication environment (hairpin bending experience preferred).

Background in production or manufacturing, preferably in metal processing, HVAC, or coil manufacturing.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and machine instructions.

Familiarity with machine tools, precision measuring instruments, and troubleshooting techniques.

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform machine adjustments and minor repairs.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Ability to pass the tape measure test.
