We are a CNC Machine shop looking to hire a CNC Lathe machinist, located in the Tempe, AZ area.
This position will be responsible for the Set-up and operation of precision machine parts manufactured from alloyed steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous alloys, and plastic. The selected candidate will need to be able to work with supervision and be a self-starter.
Minimum Requirements
Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an set-up/Operate a CNC Lathe- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications- Must have personal basic measuring tools. Possess good communication, and organizational skills- Must be physically capable of lifting 30 pounds.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Setting up and Manufacturing tight tolerance machine parts, Be a team player, assist teammates with other tasks as necessary, and cultivate an environment of continuous improvement- Follow production schedules to meet customer requirements. Complete and maintain ISO9001:2015 & AS9100 documentation within the industry standards, and as set forth by the business- Use of calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure parts are within drawing requirements.
