Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, disciplined, and self-motivated individual to join our team. This position involves a variety of hands-on tasks and requires someone who can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
This position can lead to the Operations Manager position for those who are interested.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Operating light chainsaws for trimming and preparation work
Performing heavy-duty butcher bandsaw work (primary responsibility)
Lifting and handling large ice slabs
Loading and unloading the delivery van
Completing deliveries as needed
Mopping floors, cleaning work areas, and taking out trash
Maintaining shop cleanliness, organization, and overall standards
Performing general maintenance and upkeep of the shop
Requirements & Qualities:
Must be highly independent — some shifts will be worked solo
Strong discipline, initiative, and attention to detail are essential
Proactive, driven, and a natural go-getter
Able to maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Comfortable working long shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours, depending on workload and season
Reliable, responsible, and capable of managing tasks without constant supervision
Work Schedule:
Busy Season: 40–60 hours per week
Slow Season: 35–45 hours per week
