Responsibilities:
● Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
● Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information.
● Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis for materials, labor, and equipment.
● Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain
competitive pricing.
● Prepare bid proposals and ensure timely submission.
● Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals.
● Provide cost-saving recommendations and value engineering options.
Qualifications:
● Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in commercial projects.
● Proficiency in estimating software.
● Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
● Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
● Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
